Ten new maps for Northumberland and North Tyneside

  • We are preparing ten new maps for Northumberland, with the first titles due to be published in August 2025. The group will include 2 or 3 Northumberland maps in today's North Tyneside but most will be in today's Northumberland. A previous subscription group for Northumberland concentrated on the SE area around Ashington, Blyth and Cramlington, but this will be more general, extending our coverage of the county and including some areas not previously covered in the series. Most maps will be for the periood 1914-22.
  • Subscriptions give an excellent discount, and also support us in our mission to cover as many towns and villages as possible. Maps are normally sent to subscribers, postage free, a few days before publication. A subscription costs just £ 30 for the ten new maps, post free, a substantial saving on the normal price.
  • Note that this subscription is essentially for the new maps, not those already available. Although details of the group are yet to be finalised, the ten will include titles for some places not previously covered in the series, including Prudhoe, Tweedmouth and Monkseaton. To minimise postage costs, the maps are generally sent out in batches of 2 at a time. For the maps already published, visit the relevant Northumberland page.     The first map in this subscription is due for publication in August 2025. Although no firm timetable can be given, we intend to publish the ten maps within twelve months.
