Radnorshire is a wonderful county, in the heart of Wales; but so far we have published three large scale maps, plus some Inch to the Mile maps. They include maps for Llandrindod, which developed as a major spa town in the 189th century; the border town of Knighton (part of the map is actually in Shropshire); and Rhayader, which enjoyed a boom period as the nearby reservoirs were being built. We hope to issue more titles in due course.
The following are large scale maps, at approx 14 inches to the mile, showing towns in considerable detail. Further information about individual maps is given on our On-line Mapshop.
Several one inch to the mile maps also cover much of the country. Visit the One Inch page for full details and index maps; the following are the principal sheets for Radnorshire.
Maps in the Godfrey Edition are taken from the 25 inch to the mile map and reduced to about 15 inches to the mile. They cost just £ 2.25 each. For a full list of Welsh maps, return to the Wales page
You can now order maps direct from our On-line Mapshop. They are also available from various local outlets.
