Old Ordnance Survey Maps of Perthshire

We have published just five maps in Perthshire, for contrasting towns. Here are the details. The maps are highly detailed, taken from the OS 25" (1:2500) maps and reduced to a scale of approx 15 inches to the mile. Maps can be bought through our On-line Mapshop or through some booksellers.

  • Sheet 118.02 Auchterarder 1900 - published 2007; intro by Gilbert Bell
  • Sheet 125.13 Doune & Callander 1898 - published 1990, introduction by Pamela Hignett. The principal map is for Doune; Callander is on the reverse.
  • Sheet 125.15 Dunblane (West) 1899 - published 1989
  • Sheet 125.16 Dunblane (East) 1899 - published 1989. These two maps form a pair, and there is an introduction on the East map by Alastair MacLaren.
  • A map for Perth itself is currently out of print
