Areas shown on the map include Toft Wood Houses, Lydgate, Crosspool, Stephen Hill, Tapton Hill, Clough Field, The Hagg, Park Side. The River Rivelin runs through the map. Features include Spooners Wheels and some other cutlery mills on the Rivelin, St Michael's RC Cemetery, Walkley Cemetery, Bell Hagg Inn, Middleton Buildings etc. Street directories for Bole Hill Road, Lydgate and Tapton Hill Road are included on the reverse.
