    We have published two versions of this detailed map, showing how the area changed across the years. The 1890 version is in full colour, taken from the beautiful 1st Edition OS handcoloured map.

    This detailed map covers Shipley and much of Saltaire. Coverage stretches from Staveley Road at Nab Wood eastward to Crag Road and Crag End; and from Saltaire station southward to Norwood Avenue. Features at Shipley include the Midland station with full track layout given, Bradford Canal, Airedale Mills, Victoria Works, Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Market Place, Old Hall, Jane Hills, Midland Dye Works, Windhill Crag, Shipley Fields, Shipley Fields Mill, Shipley Grange, St Paul's church, Crow Gill Park; at Saltaire features include station, tramways and depot, much of Salts Mill, Moor Head, Hollin Hall, Dungeon Wood. Virtually all of Saltaire village is shown. On the reverse we include extracts from early directories.


    The map links up with sheets 201.07 Shipley Glen to the north, 201.12 Shipley Wrose to the east and 201.15 Frizinghall to the south.
