Old Ordnance Survey Maps of Northumberland and Durham
The Godfrey Edition began in the North East of England, with a map of Gateshead East and maps of the region are still an important feature of
the series. We aim to publish around 10 to 12 maps a year for the region, principally of the Tyneside, Wearside and north Durham areas.
Subscriptions give an excellent discount, and also support us in our mission to cover as many towns and villages as possible. Each map includes a specially written introduction. Maps are
sent to subscribers, postage free, as soon as they are published. A subscription costs just £ 20 for the next 10 maps.
Note that subscriptions are essentially for new maps, not those already available. For those already published, visit the relevant web page at
the NE page.
Subscriptions can be ordered through our On-line Mapshop.
Subscriptions placed during June 2017 will commence with our new maps for North Shields and Newbottle unless requested otherwise. Subscriptions placed later will commence with
the next NE map to be published. Maps in preparation include new titles for Dunston, Roker, Sunniside and Willington Quay. The North East
is defined as the whole area between the Tweed and the Tees, ie the geographical counties of Northumberland and Durham, including Newcastle upon Tyne.
As a special offer for those subscribing during June 2017, the recent Old Marley Hill map will be included free of charge.
We hope you will join us in subscribing to our North East maps and supporting this continuing project. Quite simply, the more maps we sell, and the more subscribers we have, the more we can publish!
A North East Subscription costs just £ 20 for the next 10 maps.
You can place subscriptions direct on our On-line Mapshop. Or contact our office Monday to Thursday for details.
