    This very detailed map covers a semi-rural area east of Oldham, with coverage stretching from Thornlee and Under Lane eastward to Dacres Hall, and from Grasscroft southward to Roaches Bridge. Areas include Roaches, Shaw Hall Bank, Quick, Quick Edge, Lane and Lydgate. Features include three stretches of LNWR railway but no stations, Lydgate Tunnel on the Oldham Branch, Huddersfield Canal, Royal George Mills, Spring Mill, Welle Hilo Bridge, tramways etc. Parts of this map are in Yorkshire.

    The map links up with sheets 97.11 Lees to the west and 97.16 Mossley to the south.
