    This detailed map covers the western part of Bolton around Heaton and Chorley New Road, with coverage stretching from Bolton School westward to Beaumont Road.

    Features include Heaton Cemetery, Haslam Park, St Mary's Deane church, Christ Church Heaton, Melrose Mill, Whitebank School, Bolton School, Heaton Grange, many large villas in leafy grounds along Chorley New Road, Knowlsey Grange, LMSR railway with water troughs, etc. Extracts from a 1918 directory are included on the reverse.

    The map links up with sheet 86.15 Lostock Jct to the west, 87.13 Bolton to the east, 94.04 Bolton Rumford to the south.
