Old Ordnance Survey Maps of Elginshire

We have published just the one map in Elginshire. The map is taken from the Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 (or 25") map and reduced in scale to about 14 inches to the mile. The maps are very detailed, showing individual houses, and cover an area of one and a half miles by a mile. Each is neatly folded and includes a specially written introduction. Here are the details. All maps are available through our On-line Mapshop. Click on the links below for more information on individual titles.

These are the detailed maps currently available in our Elginshire series:

  • Sheet 7.16 Elgin 1904 - published 1990, intro by Mike Seton

The maps cost just £ 2.50 each. You can now order maps direct from our On-line Mapshop. For other information and postage costs, see Index Page and Ordering Information Page.

Most maps in the Godfrey Edition are taken from the 25 inch to the mile map and reduced to about 14 inches to the mile. For a full list of maps for Scotland, go to the Scotland page
