This very detailed map covers the village of East Boldon, midway between Sunderland and South Shields. The Newcastle & Sunderland railway runs through the map which includes Cleadon Lane (later East Boldon) station. Various brick works are the only sign of industry. On the reverse we include a directory of Boldon parish.
